All headlines and ads in this paper are playful fiction. The gossip, however, is entirely true - names withheld, because the planning circle knows who's who.
Sources close to the team confirm what the calendar has been whispering all week: today is Pallavi akka's birthday. It is also a fond farewell season, as she moves on from the Academy - and the marketing desk insists the two occasions be celebrated together, loudly.
Celebration plans are reported to be in full swing, with all details classified until the team gives the word. Cake status: being looked into.

Real incidents from the planning group, printed without names. Who's who of what's said is left for Pallavi to guess.
The night before the big day, a top-secret committee materialized out of nowhere. Its first orders of business: pin the plan, recruit members, and plot a full musical ambush at the morning meeting. Happy tears only, the charter insists.
In the rush, organizers briefly recruited the wrong namesake into the secret group. Witnesses report she was extremely nice about it. The correct one has since been located and installed. An internal inquiry is not expected.
An open call went out for poems - funny, ridiculous or sweet. One volunteer immediately signed up for the ridiculous category, calling it "a cake walk". The first entry is already in, and sources confirm it ends with "yass queen".
A coordinated scheme is afoot for everyone to switch to cute and funny photos of the birthday girl before the morning call, cameras off at the same moment, one grand screenshot with her pinned in the middle. You did not read this here.
One bright proposal on the table: everyone writes or draws something, and the birthday girl must guess who made what. The bureau fully supports any plan that makes her work for her own wishes.
One well-wisher submitted her contribution days ahead of deadline, explaining she will be away on a volunteering mission and unreachable till 2 November. The bureau salutes this level of dedication.
Reach today: everyone who knows her. Engagement: one hundred percent smiles. Conversion rate: one very happy birthday girl.
High chance of laughter through the day. Light showers of confetti towards the evening.
Today, every notification is a wish. Reply to at least a few.
The committee reports that secrecy was fully intact at the time of going to press. This newspaper congratulates itself on excellent discretion and advises all readers to keep it that way.
Whose line is it anyway? Every story in the Gossip Bureau really happened to someone in the planning circle. Should the team hand her this page, her task is to guess who's who. Answers guarded by the circle.
Imagined ads: early internet companies - most not even founded yet - already investing in her future SGA marketing. Fiction, every pixel of it.

Roses are red
Leaves are green
It's your birthday today
So have a ✨yass queen✨✨
The bureau can now confirm: it does, in fact, end with "yass queen".
Through the shifting smoke she appeared
Like a raring ghost of a woman forlorn
With her smarts and wits galore
She helped us all through tricky times before
Her growing years are beginning to show
She climbs hills with the same ease, albeit slow
Proudly claiming she's seen and done all this before
She starts again, ready to explore
As she bids adieu to us all
On her special day we have but one wish
May we always be in her heart
And may she always rise in life, never to fall
Filed with the poetry bureau by a guest of the planning circle.
Artwork and notices filed by the team, printed as received.
Filed days ahead of deadline from a phone-free volunteering stretch. The bureau has already saluted the dedication.
A contributed announcement, printed exactly as received. Its author has dated it two years hence - where, presumably, she is already famous.
A farewell edition from the newsroom's other corner, reprinted as received.

A new chapter begins.

A journey of hard work, dedication - and too much fun.
A virtual stadium, played in her honour.
The birthday girl once played football at national camps, so the planning circle marked the day the only fitting way: it opened a virtual stadium in her name and took to the pitch for her.
By press time the scoreboard read: 16 sessions, 5 rounds, 52 kicks, 40 goals, 9 saves, 3 misses. The bureau declines to publish individual scorers - some victories are collective.

The birthday stadium, opened in her honour today.
More prints from the team's collection.
The desk, out in the field
The invitation that gathered the ambush. Secrecy, as reported on page 2, was fully intact.
